The First Slow-Travel Adventure

In early 2019, Chris and I met in Vietnam to cycle 2000km from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. Having only met him once in 2013, Chris and I didn't really know each other that well, but we both shared the love for adventure and wanted to live experiences that we'll remember forever. I had never done a bike tour before, but having seen videos on YouTube, I was infatuated by this sort of travel. So Chris and I met in Hanoi, bought the 2 cheapest bikes that we can find, and spent the next 40 days cycling down to Ho Chi Minh City taking every detour that we could. The result? A life-long friendship and a bond that formed from sharing beautiful experiences together.

These memories and experiences were all captured and shared in the form of photos, a short film and a YouTube series (editing is currently on-going). This story holds a special place in my heart, and I hope that that translates in the content that you'll see here.

A Short Film

This 16-minute short film takes you through the whole journey as Chris and I experience the roads less traveled in Vietnam together, and as our friendship flourishes.

Episode 2

Why did Chris and I say yes to this adventure? The answer that I had in mind for Chris was not at all what it actually was. In this video, Chris shows his vulnerable side and opens up about his reasoning.
